Nova Trio is a softcover sampler sketchbook that has mixed sheets of the three Nova Series shades, beige, grey and black. This product allows artists to compare the same drawing on different shades of paper and to experiment with the three Nova shades before investing in a sketchbook of a single shade.

Stillman & Birn meets the wide range of artists' needs with sketchbooks containing robust, high-performance art papers. With both internal and surface sizing, these papers have exceptional wet strength that support the application of multiple washes of watercolour. Similarly, just as the paper's sizing retards water absorption, pigment stays on the surface of the sheet. The Nova Series toned papers are double-sized for enhanced wet strength and made to support mixed media artwork.
