Our people make Art Shed Brisbane possible. We have a much cherished team of art lovers and makers working at the store. We're all practicing artists and we value great customer service, service that is truly kind. A number of the staff have been working at the store for ten years as they pursue their own creative goals. We're available for advice, guidance and assistance. We aim to inspire your creativity!

How it all began:

Meg and Manny met at Art Shed Brisbane in 2003 and love blossomed. Meg was the first employee while studying at QLD College of Art. Manny was then a GP and an active artist. They bought the store in 2007 and married in 2008. It then became “Art Shed Brisbane”. The store has been pivotal in changing the face of art supplies in Queensland, making art affordable for everyone.

Meg and Manny set out to make Art Shed Brisbane a store for art lovers. They decided their “baby” should be bursting with seductive art materials at fair prices. More importantly, their mission is to share their passion and inspire the creative spirit in every visitor.
