Yupo paper is a synthetic material pH neutral surface made of 100% polypropylene and is waterproof, stain resistant, strong and durable.
The ultra smooth surface remains flat when wet resisting buckling or tearing providing the user a unique alternative to traditional watercolour papers as no stretching, soaking or taping is required.
The non absorbent surface allows watercolours and acrylic to sit on the surface of the paper resulting in true clarity and brilliance.
Pen and ink lines remain sharp, markers and alcohol inks work well on the surface too.
Due to the unique qualities of the surface, remove and spots, marks or fingerprints with soap and water before use.
I was excited to be able to have large sheets of Yupo to use and they were delivered very quickly. There was a small crease in the corner of one of the sheets which may affect my ability to use that part of the paper but other than that I am quite pleased.
