Megan Grinstead’s Contemporary Lino Print and Colour Workshop is a hands-on introduction to the exciting world of lino printing. Perfect for beginners, this engaging session explores the graphic and dynamic nature of hand-cut lino prints, guiding participants through the entire process from image transfer to carving and printing.

Using Ezy Carve blocks, participants will learn how to create their own unique designs and print them onto a variety of papers, experimenting with multiple prints and colour techniques. The workshop also introduces hand-colouring methods, allowing attendees to enhance their prints with personalised touches. Whether crafting greeting cards, small framed artworks, or experimenting with reduction printing, participants will discover endless creative possibilities.

The workshop fosters a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere, encouraging exploration and creativity. Attendees are welcome to bring their own images for inspiration or choose from a selection provided on the day.

A 100 x 145 mm Ezy Carve block (usable in landscape or portrait) to take home.

A handmade portfolio to store finished prints.

Access to all necessary tools, inks, and paper.

A simple morning tea, with coffee and tea available in the kitchen (or a café nearby for those wanting a pre/post-workshop coffee).
