Create with Air-dry CLAY | Studio Yellow

Create with Air-dry CLAY | Studio Yellow

Everyone benefits from the tactile experience of working with clay.

This hands-on workshop is guided by Natalie Lynch, who will teach the basics of clay making. Step by step, she will demonstrate simple hand-building techniques before giving participants the chance to get their hands dirty. There will be time to slow down, relax, and experiment with the medium, creating fun and creative functional or decorative pieces. Whether it's trinket bowls, pencil holders, tiny houses, wall pockets, incense or candle holders, or jewellery, the possibilities are endless.

Pottery is an ancient practice with many restorative benefits. While this session isn’t therapy, Natalie believes that working with clay can be incredibly therapeutic. Like any form of art-making, the moment hands start shaping the clay, attention shifts away from everyday concerns.

It’s even okay to squash a piece at the end of the session because the final result isn’t what matters. This workshop is all about the experience—how playing with clay makes you feel.

As adults, making time for light-hearted, playful experiences is one of the most healing things we can do, and Natalie is excited to share this creative journey with you.
