About the Tutor
Sophie Munns’ practice is featured as a case study in the Cambridge textbook for Year 11 and 12 General Visual Art, Creative Inquiry: Visual Art for Queensland Senior Secondary Students, within Unit 1: Art as Lens. Her practice is a powerful illustration of how to use research and experimental creative processes to self-generate an inquiry question and create a significant body of work exploring ideas around biodiversity (specifically, seeds and seed diversity), through the lens of artistic practice.
“Seeds are a fascinating way to track the story of people interacting with places over millennia...” – Sophie Munns
